A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson || Book Review

Plot: Little Kilton was a peaceful town, not much of a place for murder or anything bad really except for what happened on 20th April 2012, Andie Bell was ruthlessly murdered by her own boyfriend Sal Singh. The case has been closed for five years now. Pippa Fitz-Amobi, a quirky A-grade student with a deadline for her EPQ, isn't entirely convinced Sal is the murderer. She decides to reinvestigate the case with her now friend/neighbor Ravi (Sal’s brother). Only half-way through she realizes how much of her beloved she has put at stake..

But there is no turning back now, is there?

“I'm not sure I'm the good girl i once thought i was . I've lost her along the way”

➴The book was soooo good I stayed up at night, and read it in one sitting.

The writing is just incredible and plot OmG! So juicy, dark and intricate,I loved every page of it.

“She was on a high cliff edge somewhere between laughing and crying and screaming.”

Plus the details felt so true as well, like the only thing unbelievable was how Pip was able to complete her homework amidst this drama.

“We’re a team, remember. You and me.”

Loved the banter between Pip and Ravi. I know this is not a romance novel but there could have been more, maybe in the sequel.Just a thought

“The people you love weren’t algebra: to be calculated, subtracted, or held at arm’s length across a decimal point.”

A Intoxicating Murder Mystery
