Good Girl, Bad Blood by Holly Jackson || Book review
Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐
I made a promise. . . . I said I would never do this again, never play the detective, never again lose myself.
Plot: Pip said she wouldn't do it again, not after losing her dog, not after risking her own life. She promised herself that wasn’t who she was anymore but she has to slip on the detective hat once more when it’s her friend Connor’s brother who is missing. She has to find him quick, against all odds while finding herself in the process
“Time is in charge here, not me, and that's terrifying”
LoVed IT!! oMg, the plot thickens.
Warning: A whole lot of plot twists and surprises. This makes the story unconvincing. It feels like we are being pushed towards a new parallel a little forcefully.
Pippa X Ravi: I stan them
You can really see some character development. Pippa acts a bit more mature but there’s still a raging, fiery teenager in her, determined to prove everyone wrong, something I hope we can all relate to.
Less exciting than the aggtm 1, which could be my mood speaking.A slight preference for the first if I may.
Good ending though, makes it feel like a never-ending series.
“Some people are pretty good at hiding who they really are.”
Plus there’s a live adaptation of this book coming out this year(hopefully🤞) featuring Emma Myers as Pippa. I CanNOt WAit!
“Do you care what people think, if you know you’re right?”
Perfect Y/A murder-mystery lovers
