New sketchbook || Cover decorations

Heyy people!! Don’t you think it's a good time to start a new ‘consistent’ sketch book since I have finished my old one.

I couldn't get a proper sketchbook this time so I bought a drawing note I guess… that’s what it says on the cover. It’s landscape and has only 25 pages, so I don’t think it's going to last me for a while. And the paper is kinda thick. I’m thinking of decorating the cover. Don’t get me wrong the painting is really beautiful but I'm not really digging it but I still don’t want to cover the whole page. Something minimalist that I don't regret later on. After some thinking I decided to do cut-outs and stick on it.

I first started writing ‘sketch book-02’ ( yep haven't gone past first yet) in cute bubbly letters then, outlined with a black CD marker. Okay now I don’t know what got into me but I filled the letters with purple only later to regret it. To save it from impending doom I brought in a glitter gel pen to give it some highlights. I could have used a white one but it would have been too bright.

Andd after sticking that into the left corner (I didn't want it to hide the image behind) it seemed too simple, like it was lacking an element. So, after surfing the web for a long time, I finally landed on a feather. Used neon pink, pink and purple markers to color it in and stuck on the right corner.

Does it look beautiful, absolutely not and will I regret this until the very end probably yes and with that note
